Hi! I’m Devin Colavecchio, a NASM-certified personal trainer.
From my early struggles with being very small in stature to later finding myself overweight and turning to food for comfort, I understand the personal challenges that come with seeking physical and mental well-being. Fitness and weightlifting became my sanctuary around the age of 12. It was not just a means to improve my health, but a way to gain self-confidence and escape internal frustrations.
Life, with its inevitable ups and downs, sometimes put my fitness journey on hold. Work, family, and children brought joy but also chaos, making it tough to keep fitness a priority. I had every excuse: the gym is too far, I don’t have time, I’m too tired, I’ll go tomorrow. However, a mentor once told me, 'At 35 years old you have most of the cells in your body that you will have for the rest of your life. Essentially, you start to age and die at 35.' This drastic statement hit home, and at 33, I began to reprioritize my physical health.
For over two years, I worked with my own trainer, who not only pushed me but also kept me accountable and supported me through my struggles. That support was crucial, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it! With a background as a former mental health counselor and life skills coach, I bring a unique approach to training. I believe working out is as much about improving mental health as it is about physical health.
I utilize a range of techniques, from strength training to stretching and balance, aiming to address physical discomforts and imbalances while achieving your desired outcomes.
Are you ready to start your journey? Contact me through my Facebook page, and let's take the first step together.
I was at a point where I had given up on exercising and being able to do many activities with my family. I have bad knees and a back injury. I was getting weak and every time I tried to exercise I ended up injuring myself. I gave up. Then my daughter told me about Devin I talked with him and he told me he could make me strong again with no injuries. I was quite skeptical.
We started working slow and steady. I already feel stronger. Much less pain in my back and I am able to do so much more. Look forward to my journey to strength and mobility improvement with Devin. Thank you Devin for this and your encouragement thank you Devin Colavecchio

I wasn't sure where to start with my fitness journey after having my kids. I'd go to the gym and feel lost among the machines, weights and people.
Devin Colavecchio got me started again. He not only improved my strength and overall health but gave me the confidence and guidance to continue going to the gym on my own. Now I know what my plan is and can live a healthier lifestyle for me and my family.
